This means that you no longer have to worry about the orange/brown colour casts associated with Tungsten/Halogen lighting and incorrect camera white balance settings - something that even today's technically advanced cameras seem incapable of achieving properly without performing a custom white balance - which becomes redundant if the mains supply voltage changes (which it does on a regular basis). This means that your camera can simply be left on auto white balance and you can concentrate on your picture composition instead. |

- Cool Operating Temperature
The Bulbs used in the DayLight Balanced Studio Lighting Kits are florescent bulbs, so there are none of the radiated heat issues associated with Tungsten/Halogen Lights - ideal if you are photographing heat sensitive subject such as people, food, delicate varnished antiques etc. |

being Fluorescent, they emit a ready diffused light that helps in the creation of shadow free pictures. |
On average, the bulbs in the DayLight Balanced Studio Lighting Kits last for 5000hrs of operation, better than the several hundred hours associated with Tungsten/Halogen - one bulb will outlast approx 20 tungsten bulbs of a similar cost, helping to achieve savings on the order of £200 on bulb replacement cost alone. |

Being fluorescent, they use less electricity - approx 1/5th of the cost of a 500w tungsten bulb for the equivalent 4 daylight bulbs. So for the lifespan of a Daylight head containing 4 bulbs, an electricity saving in the region of £300 can be expected - kinder on your pocket and kinder on the environment! |
