The Stellar Xtreme is a new concept in AC/DC studio lighting and portable lighting which has many new features aimed firmly and squarely at the professional market. With an almost go anywhere battery pack you can now get that important shot in poor lighting conditions at a wedding.

Additional features include fan cooling ensuring that the flash capacitors and associated circuitry are kept to their optimum working temperature even during periods of prolonged use. With a new thermal cut-out device and greater air flow around the capacitors, you are assured of stable lighting in demanding conditions. Feature such as the "S" Type fitting are important to the busy professional allow the widest possible range of light shaping tools to be used, like the Interfit Pro range of softboxes, these are the perfect combination to Stellar Extreme, when fitted to the robust front end mechanism. The rear control panel houses a new grab handle and user friendly controls that allow not only the flash and modelling lamp intensity to be set but also the switches that allow the choice of audible or silent recycling indication and modelling lamp controls and the AD/DC control switch.

Other features include sensitive infrared and flash sensors and five f-stop stepless adjustment of both flash and modelling lamp, fast re-charge coupled with audible and visual 100% recharge indicators add to the ease of use.

The new and easy to use mounting bracket allows for repositioning and balancing of large or heavy softboxes ensuring the light is always facing in the right direction. User changeable German flash tubes ensure both long life and colour consistency offer the modern professional the most desirable and flexible tools of the trade.

The Xtreme 150 head kit is the ideal choice for all round fashion and portrait photography in more confined areas in extreme conditions.  Under normal circumstances, the battery will achieve approximately 100 shots at full power or 250 - 300 at half power.
