Have you ever suffered from Paper Roll Creep or Vinyl crash?

You know the problem, you get the paper roll into position ready for your shoot and it keeps on unrolling - this is a problem faced by practically everyone using a standard portable background system to support their paper roll.  Or you start to unroll your Vinyl Roll (again on a portable background support) and then off it goes, the whole rolls starts spinning uncontrollably because of its sheer weight and with a couple of seconds the whole roll is unwrapped - possibly lying on the floor as comes off it's aluminium roll entirely.

Now there is a simple solution - KARLite Roll Brakes, simply fit these onto the cross bar (fits bar diameters between 29mm - 30mm) of your support, move them into either end of the roll and tighten them (not too tight or you will be unable to unroll the paper) so that they only move when you pull on the roll - total control, simple!
